Another great “dog friend”of mine is Kim – she works for Paws and Remember, a great Fort Wayne business that cares for all your pet remembrance needs. Be sure to check their website and facebook for more information. After knowing Kim for several years it was about time I photographed her fur-kids! The session was focused more towards Gus, a 2 year old black German Shepherd but we also captured the sweet-faced Nana!
Kim’s companionship with Gus and Nana were very evident during our session – these fur-balls are her world!
Sweet Nana and Kim have been together 12 years – Nana was rescued and has been loved and taken care of ever since! It was a chilly day of our photo session, but Nana was kept comfortable and loved staying warm in a fashionable jacket – it even had a hood! 🙂
Gus LOVES playing with the frisbee and showed off his awesome moves! This boy can jump!
This image of Gus might be my favorite image of him from the entire session… I love the way he is peeking through the branch with the frisbee at his feet and the sunlight is coming in.
This image is not my “normal style” of photography – but I just LOVE how it turned out! They had no idea I was photographing them, it was “just Kim, Gus and a frisbee”
The tree “framing” Kim and Gus, no color – just simple black and white with some grain and their shadows are just some of the things I love about this image.
