I was contacted by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants basketball to come and photograph their Hoops and Hounds event. I believe this is their second annual year doing this event. Fort Wayne Mad Ants is our local basketball team, they host this dog-friendly event once a year and you can bring your dog to the Coliseum to watch the basketball game with you and the proceeds for the dog tickets purchased go to the local Allen County SPCA. What a fun event and an easy way to support the ASPCA!
As the dogs entered, they were warmly greeted by the Mad Ants Cheerleaders!
The ASPCA came out and was planning to have some adoptable dogs available, but they currently didn’t have any dogs available – what a good problem to have!
The dogs and their owners had their own section in the stands!
It didn’t take long for the dogs to settle in for the game…
and even enjoyed some popcorn!
It was a great time of sports, pups and a good cause! See you next year!
