Once again this event was held at Hotel Fort Wayne, in the Marquis room. The room is grand with spectacular lighting and mood. It was an honor to be one of the “puparazzi” for this event again this year.
Misty, of Paw’s N Claw’s, came up with this amazing idea for a fundraiser to benefit the local Allen County SPCA.
The VIP guests not only received a gift bag, but were also seated in the front row of the runway.
Groomers spent weeks preparing for this event and hours preparing their dog for the runway.
Once prepped and ready for the show, the groomers and their dogs took to the red carpet for a photo opportunity before the show started.
Guests arrived and food was served along with the opportunity to bid on auction items. BIG THANKS to all the businesses who donated(Komets, Vera Bradley, McMahon Tires, Dr. Gary’s Best Breed, just to name a few)! I am always amazed at how our community comes together to support this wonderful cause!
There was also the opportunity to support the Allen County’s SPCA “Angel Fund”.
The wonderful Jessica Henry, of the Allen County SPCA and Aricka McCauley, of K105 Radio Station were the emcees of the night.
They did a wonderful job!
Let the show begin…
Throughout the night, we also got to meet some of the SPCA adoptables and Jessica shared about the SPCA’s mission and their “Angel Fund”.
This event will be the talk of the town for months! So many talented groomers, stunning dogs, the wonderful SPCA and all the people of Fort Wayne who support the SPCA in saving lives… Jessica made sure to thank all those involved in making this event a success!
The runway show ended with the announcement of the winners and the awards distributed to the winners in each category(including “peoples choice”).
BIG THANKS to the staff, volunteers, donators and attendees of this event. YOU can be the voice for those who don’t have a voice!
If you were unable to attend this year, I encourage you to make a donation this year and then plan to attend next year! It will be a great time for a great cause!
